Social Committee – Plans all the community gatherings. This includes events like the annual picnic, happy hours, hikes, movie nights, the Halloween party for children, and the neighborhood cleanup. They also manage the sign board posted at the entrance to the community. If you like event planning, this is a great way to get to know your neighbors.
Social Media – We are currently looking for a chairperson and committee members for this committee. We would like this committee to manage The Trails At Woodlot HOA Facebook page, create HOA newsletters, and publicize HOA events. We would also like to create a private Facebook page for neighbors in TAWL to share recommendations for contractors.
Webmaster – The HOA has hired a company to do the actual programming on the web site, but the contents of the web site belong to the HOA. This team periodically reviews the web site to keep the information up to date and add new information when needed. The webmasters are the liaison between the HOA BoD and the web company. We have a chairperson for this committee, and we are looking for a person to serve as backup.
Welcoming Committee – As the name implies, this committee welcomes new owners/renters to the community and provides information to help them acclimate quickly. The committee puts together a packet of material and a welcome gift for the new neighbors Then they visit to personally welcome them to the community and give them their “Welcome Basket” on behalf of the BoD and the HOA.
