Pet Waste Disposal

There has been a noticeable increase in the amount of dog waste throughout the Community. Pet owners are either not bagging the waste, or bagging the waste but leaving the bags on the ground. We have installed two dog waste containers, one at the front entrance and one at the walkway from TAWL to Swansfield. We ask that all pet owners be considerate of everyone in the community and please bag the waste and use the containers

Parking Concerns

Be considerate of others! Please don’t block the sidewalks when parking in your driveways or encroach on the end of your neighbors’ driveways when parking along the curb.

We have or will have the following openings:

Many Residents have expressed concerns about the poor condition of the roads in the community single family homes area. These roads are maintained by Howard County and Jim Barker from the Howard County Department of Highways confirmed that our community is on the list of resurfacing projects to be completed this year. He did not have an exact date of when the work would start, but confirmed it would be started in 2023.

Annual Neighborhood Walk Through

Volunteers who serve on the Architectural Committee conduct an annual walk through and provide feedback on areas that need attention. The checklist used by the committee is posted on the HOA website for those interested in reviewing it. This year’s walk through occurred in July and results were sent to homeowners in August.

Deficiencies—potential issues that generate a violation letter if not corrected before the September follow up walk through, and

Recommendations—suggested actions for improving curb appeal that are not required by the HOA Bylaws and will not generate a violation letter if not completed.

Deficiency and recommendation notices will be emailed to residents by the end of June. Questions about notices can be emailed to thetrailsatwoodlot@gmail.com, ATTN: Architectural Committee
